Our sewing and quilting classes are community based classes from experts around our area. We also being in national experts on occasion. It is a wonderful place to learn new skills and meet new friends!

This class will teach you the basics for paper piecing using Carol Doak’s book “50 Little Paper-Pieced Blocks”. You will make beautiful notecards using quilt blocks designed by Carol Doak.
SPECIAL HOLIDAY PATTERNS WILL ALSO BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR SUPPLY LIST WHEN YOU SIGN UP AND PAY FOR THE CLASS.
Coming to class with the book, the precutting checklist completed, copies of several of the patterns and the necessary tools will have you on your way to completing your own unique notecards.

The Quiltsmart Mondo Bag is a large, roomy tote known for its easy construction using gridded interfacing, resulting in perfectly aligned seams, ideal for quilters. It’s made from 2.5-inch squares, creating a substantial bag with a roughly 10″ square bottom and 17″ tall sides, perfect as a weekend bag, diaper bag, or for carrying quilts.
Using the same pattern, you may choose to use 5″ squares, resulting in an even bigger bag.
