Our sewing and quilting classes are community based classes from experts around our area. We also being in national experts on occasion. It is a wonderful place to learn new skills and meet new friends!

In this one-on-one creative session, you’ll learn how to embroider on a deep pile Cuddle Fabric to make an infinity scarf. We will be using knock down stitches in our design from Urban Threads to create a fuzzy cat that appears through negative space.

The Quiltsmart Mondo Bag is a large, roomy tote known for its easy construction using gridded interfacing, resulting in perfectly aligned seams, ideal for quilters. It’s made from 2.5-inch squares, creating a substantial bag with a roughly 10″ square bottom and 17″ tall sides, perfect as a weekend bag, diaper bag, or for carrying quilts.
Using the same pattern, you may choose to use 5″ squares, resulting in an even bigger bag.

Using your embroidery machine, you’ll discover the techniques needed to hoop, stitch, rinse. and finish free-standing lace, transforming thread into a gorgeous decorative piece. We’ll aise explore how to attach the lace to a fabric napkin and add the finishing touches—like the pretty ribbon detail shown here.
