This is an ongoing community quilt shop event at Quilting at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC. It is a great way to finish projects and get help from our quilting and sewing experts. It is a drop-in style event that happens every 2nd and 4th Monday. The cost is $10.
We are so excited to announce our Souper Bowl Quilt Soup Exchange for 2025! This was a huge hit last year and together we raised over $500 for The Lowcountry Foor Bank. That is equivalent to 3,240 meals for those in need!
Just $5 will provide 25 nutritious meals for children, seniors, veterans and families throughout the Lowcountry! Every donation you make goes straight to the Lowcountry Food Bank.
What a super fun way to donate to a local charity and have some fun creating a unique Christmas ornament for Christmas in July! We suggest donating $5 or more to Santa Claus for Paws through their link here below.
Star picking up your poop bags May 13!
Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2024 Souper Bowl Charity Sewing event! It was a great success. Each person made a donation to The Lowcountry Food Bank and filled a soup container with fabric scraps. They then picked up a different container of fabric scraps from a mystery person. The video below is from the exchange day! The creativity was astounding!
The group donated $540.40 to The Lowcounrty Food Bank…the equivalent to 3,240 meals for those In need in the area.
