In this one-on-one creative session, you’ll learn the Applique Machine Embroidery technique and stitch a beautiful iridescent starfish on a snap tray blank. The Iridescent vinyl material we will be using Is made specifically for machine embroidery and has some amazing characteristics… like you can Iron on low heat, It Is washable and It does not stick to your embroidery foot!

You’ll be guided step-by-step through stabilizer selection, stitching, and finishing, and you’ll see how approachable this impressive technique really is. This hands-on project has a big “wow” factor—and a great way to explore what modern machine embroidery can do.

We provide everything you need, including all supplies and the use of a Janome embroidery machine. You’ll leave with one finished Starfish Snap Tray and a whole new appreciation for how fun and creative embroidery can be.
