We are so excited to announce our Souper Bowl Quilt Soup Exchange for 2025/2026! This was a huge hit last year and together we raised over $500 for The Lowcountry Food Bank. That is equivalent to 3,240 meals for those in need!
Just $5 will provide 15 nutritious meals for children, seniors, veterans and families throughout the Lowcountry! Every donation you make goes straight to the Lowcountry Food Bank.
Why is this event SEW MUCH FUN?! You will fill a soup container you pick up from the shop with scrap fabric (as small as 2 1/2″ square and as big as a fat quarter). Then, you will turn in your soup mix and you will grab another person’s soup mix. This is when you can let your imagination run wild and sew anything as the chef of the soup mix. On Souper Bowl Sunday, February 9, we will exchange the finished “soup” and you will find out who your chef is and a beautiful creation will be revealed to you!
It is a sewing challenge of sorts, a ton of fun, a great scrap buster, and a wonderful way to give back to charity. We guarantee your hearts will be warmed with amazing “soup” recipes and your creative friendships will soar!
The Souper Bowl Chef Exchange will take place on Sunday, Feb 8 from 12:00pm-2pm.
